LED DISPLAY CONTROLS
A suitable control system is crucial for a led display. There are mainly 2 kinds of control systems on the market, synchronous and asynchronous.
Synchronous control system
Synchronous control system means the led display will show videos or images from a computer or other input source, such as DVD, camera, TV, VCR, etc. directly.
The led display needs to be connected with a PC or video processor continuously. If the connection is cut off, the led display will not show anything.
Fast data transmission is one of the advantages of a synchronous control system; the led display will display real time data from the computer (or other input source) without any delay.
Asynchronous control system
Asynchronous control system indicates the led display will show programs from its internal memory, the led display only needs to connect with a PC to update the memory. The playlist will be edited on a computer, then send to the control card by UTP cat5, USB disk, Wifi or 3/4G connection.
When the control PC is far away from the led display, the asynchronous control system is a good choice. If the installation location is not convenient for wiring, asynchronous is a good solution too.
